USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT)

USTA Junior Team Tennis brings together boys and girls, ages 6 to 18, to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other coed teams.  Public Tennis Inc. organizes JTT for Beaufort County.  It’s really fun, and in 2018, one of our local 18-and-under teams was state champion!  Beyond being fun and a great form of exercise, Junior Team Tennis is a competitive, level-based environment that promotes individual growth, social growth and life skills.  The focus is on the team!

Why Junior Team Tennis is Right For You…

With Junior Team Tennis, you’ll learn about unity, sportsmanship and how to work together to achieve success. You’ll also learn that success isn’t just about winning; it’s about how you play the game and respond to challenges.

Parents can get involved in Junior Team Tennis, too. If there isn’t a Junior Team Tennis league near you, your parent can start a team!

Nearly 100,000 kids nationwide play Junior Team Tennis annually, thanks to the parents who donate their time and talents. In fact, your parents can get involved today, whether they’re pros or if they’ve never picked up a racquet. They can even start a team if there isn’t one nearby.

What Beaufort County teams are available?

Currently, there are Junior Teams playing at the 18-and-under and 14-and-under age groups during the Winter Season.   With a minimum of just 3 girls and 3 boys per team, teams can easily be formed at other age levels as well in the future.
