From its beginning, PTI recognized that despite hundreds of private and gated tennis courts and facilities in the greater Hilton Head area, very few courts were available for public use.  In the early 2000’s, PTI raised funds and secured matching funds enabling the Town of Hilton Head to build Chaplin Public Tennis Center.
