What: We partner with Elementary Schools (ES) and their Physical Education (PE) Teachers to introduce tennis to students during their PE class. Racquets and other equipment are provided through the USTA school program. Our vision is that tennis is incorporated into the PE curriculum at every school.
When: Several weeks throughout the school year, with each school involved in a one- or two-week sessions during the fall and spring semesters.
Where: In the past year, we coached at Beaufort ES, Hilton Head Island ES, Hilton Head Island ES for the Creative Arts, Robert Smalls Leadership Academy and more to come in the future!
Age Group/Skill Level: 6 – 11/Beginner+
How to sign up: Group lessons are typically arranged through the PE Teacher at each school
