To coach Special Olympics athletes, all volunteers are required to register with Special Olympics South Carolina (good for 3 years).
For all volunteers working at a school facility, an additional County School District registration (good for 2 years) is required.
Both registrations are free-of-charge, they include background screening, and they only take a few minutes.

The “Volunteer Position” answer is “Coach”. The “Association/team Name” is “Public Tennis Inc.”. The “Area you live in” is “Area 8”. The answer to “If you are volunteering as part of a company or group, specify the group” is “Public Tennis Inc..” Important note: In the days after you apply, you will receive an acknowledgement email from Special Olympics SC, and you will receive an email from “Hireright” (their vendor for background checks), asking for your consent to the background check process. You must follow the link in the Hirerighht email and complete the background check process to be eligible to coach. Thank you!!
